Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist and support Principal Investigators in their clinical research activities (starting from study start-up till study end including study closure activities) such as:
- Recruit patients in the clinic and assist in screening, recruitment and consent taking of participants.
- Follow up on studies required visits and procedures including data and biospecimen collection via venepuncture
- Perform sample processing (e.g. buffers preparation, centrifugation, aliquoting)
- Ensure lab safety, maintain equipment, and manage biospecimen inventory levels.
- Manage research data, data entry, data cleaning
- Perform literature review and assist in writing research papers for publication and conference presentation.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing, Psychology
- Certificate of Phlebotomy and has experience in performing venepuncture for blood specimen collection is necessary
- Working experience in academic or clinical research would be advantageous
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
