Research Assistant/ Executive (Developmental Psychiatry)

Job Description:

At the Department of Developmental Psychiatry, you are expected to work in a multidisciplinary team, and work with young persons presenting with mental health concerns. The department is moving towards a scientist-practitioner ethos, and your work will interface the clinical and research components of mental health.

 

Job Responsibilities:

You will be expected:

  • To have knowledge and theoretical background in working with young persons presenting with mental health issues
  • To conduct research procedures and develop research projects that aim to improve the mental health of young persons, including clinical programs and trials
  • To support the administrative and logistical requirements in research or special projects, including liaison with stakeholders, engagement with the community and management of data

 

In addition, for the Research Assistant role, you will be expected:

  • To conduct data processing procedures
  • To support data analysis and manuscript publication

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Psychology in Psychology from an established university.
  • Preferably with relevant working experience.
  • Good interpersonal, social and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.

 

Remuneration will commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant work experience.
