What You Will Drive

1. Deliver High‑Quality, Advanced Imaging Services

  • Perform specialised and complex radiographic examinations in addition to core radiographer responsibilities.
  • Support daily departmental operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
  • Take charge of quality control programmes to ensure consistent performance of radiographic equipment and accessories across all sections.
  • Troubleshoot radiographic issues and maintain high technical standards within the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.

 

2. Strengthen Patient Experience & Service Excellence

  • Assist in addressing patients’ queries and feedback to enhance communication and overall care delivery.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to facilitate timely patient scheduling and expedite reports for urgent imaging cases.
  • Uphold safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.

 

3. Lead People & Support Professional Development

  • Supervise, guide, and mentor junior radiographers and supervisees.
  • Deploy staff effectively according to operational, educational, and service needs.
  • Support learning and capability-building through presentations at internal and external continuing education activities.

 

4. Drive Standards, Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute actively to work improvement and innovation projects that enhance workflow, quality, and service delivery.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to maintain accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of professional practice within the department.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors in support of service and organisational goals

 

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Recognised Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of experience in an acute hospital diagnostic radiology setting.
  • Competent in diagnostic radiography with strong knowledge of image processing, quality control, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Experience in advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography across inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as assisting in procedures like Coronary Angiography and PTCA, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Additional experience or qualifications in management, clinical supervision, education, research, or informatics will be advantageous.

 

Professional Licenses

  • Valid Radiation Licence under the Radiation Protection Act (Chapter 262).
  • Current Allied Health Professional Council Practising Certificate.

Other Information

  • Exposure to ionising radiation, physical patient handling, and operation of heavy mobile equipment is expected, in line with typical hospital working conditions.
