What you’ll do as a Psychologist!

 

You will conduct consultations within a multidisciplinary team, for patients with chronic illness who have stress-related mental health problems to enable them to better manage their medical conditions. You will design and conduct relevant workshops/group sessions for patients and the public and be involved in research to advance the understanding of practice in primary care. In addition, you will also design programmes and conduct training for clinical staff in NHG Polyclinics.

  • Pleasant, good interpersonal skills and work will in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to work at a different polyclinic location from time to time
  • Effective in English, Mandarin and / or Malay, both written and public speaking (in order to provide consultations and handle queries, concerns and requests from Mandarin / Malay speaking patients)
  • Systematic and methodical working style
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Basic research skills

 

Preferred Qualification!

 

  • Master's Degree in Clinical/ Applied Psychology
  • Eligible for registration or registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP)
