JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards. They lead the project team and manage resources to achieve successful project outcomes.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules in collaboration with Track/Product Managers, Kaizen teams, and business users to define and confirm project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Change Management: Implement change management processes to handle project scope changes effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and objectives.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that may impact project success, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track performance metrics to evaluate project success and team productivity, using data to drive improvements.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of the project team, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to the required quality.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the project team or with stakeholders to maintain a collaborative working environment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, clients, and team members, to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders, providing updates on milestones and deliverables.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, gather lessons learned, and identify areas for future improvement.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support project objectives.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Provide leadership and motivation to the project team, fostering a positive environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet established quality standards through effective quality assurance processes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business administration). A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a relevant industry (e.g., technology, healthcare).
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for collaboration and communication (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on critical timelines and milestones.
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.
