ACCOUNTANT (PROJECT, PART-TIME)

Join us in supporting a major charity fundraising event that makes a meaningful impact on healthcare access and patient support. We're seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to ensure the financial success and regulatory compliance of Legacy of Giving 2.0, scheduled for 22 May 2026.

What You'll Do:

Financial Management & Analysis

  • Oversee comprehensive budget management for a large-scale charity event, tracking donations across multiple revenue streams including table sales, auctions, and direct contributions
  • Perform detailed reconciliation of all funds received and ensure accurate distribution to beneficiary charities
  • Calculate donation shares and coordinate with external beneficiaries regarding fund allocation
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making and meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely and appropriate fund disbursement according to donor specifications

Donor Relations & Compliance

  • Maintain comprehensive records of sponsor commitments and payments, ensuring accurate tracking from pledge to receipt
  • Process tax-deductible receipts and coordinate donor appreciation initiatives
  • Support donor reporting by preparing updates on fund utilisation and charitable impact
  • Ensure full compliance with IPC regulations, Charities Act, and relevant governance policies
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulators for event-related reviews and documentation

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with fundraising and corporate communication teams to support seamless event operations
  • Provide expert guidance on fund management and regulatory considerations for fundraising initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on grant applications and disbursement processes

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in financial management, governance, or non-profit administration
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's IPC and charitable organisation regulations
  • Experience in financial reporting and audit preparation
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
