Principal Resident Physician

The role of a Principal Resident Physician is to apply knowledge and skills to provide primary consultations and continuous care to patients in Community Hospital.

In addition to clinical work, he/she is expected to be engaged in teaching and mentoring of junior doctors.

This JD will include the following subspecialties:

1. Geriatric Medicine
2. Medical Psychiatry
3. Palliative & Supportive Care
4. Post-Acute & Rehabilitative Care
5. Transitional Care

Job responsibilies:

1. Possess a basic medical degree and/or postgraduate medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Resident Physician
3. Doctors with Conditional medical registration with SMC are to practice within the conditions of their registration
4. Possess either Full/Conditional Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
5. Possess a valid practicing certificate with the Singapore Medical Council
6. Possess a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
7. Possess a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
