Principal Resident Physician
The role of a Principal Resident Physician is to apply knowledge and skills to provide primary consultations and continuous care to patients in Community Hospital.
In addition to clinical work, he/she is expected to be engaged in teaching and mentoring of junior doctors.
This JD will include the following subspecialties:
- Geriatric Medicine
- Medical Psychiatry
- Palliative & Supportive Care
- Post-Acute & Rehabilitative Care
- Transitional Care
Job responsibilies:
- Possess a basic medical degree and/or postgraduate medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Resident Physician
- Doctors with Conditional medical registration with SMC are to practice within the conditions of their registration
- Possess either Full/Conditional Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Possess a valid practicing certificate with the Singapore Medical Council
- Possess a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Possess a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
