Podiatrist
What you’ll do as a Senior/Podiatrist!
You will assess, diagnose, and implement treatments for a range of problems in the primary care setting. Using your specialist skills, you will treat a broad spectrum of patients ranging from low-risk foot conditions such as corns, calluses, and pathological nail conditions to high-risk foot conditions (e.g diabetic foot ulcers).
You will also be involved in managing biomechanical foot conditions which includes prescription of custom-made and off-the-shelf foot orthoses. In addition, you will educate patients and family members or caregivers on preventive foot care and the continued treatment of disorders, and conduct talks relating to foot care.
You can also expect to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.

Preferred Qualification!
- Bachelor’s Degree in Podiatry from a recognized university
- Registration with the relevant governing body of this profession, if applicable
