MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with clinical note-taking
- Providing updates to patient or Next-of-Kin
- Explaining treatment plans to patient or Next-of-Kin
- Providing Patient information sheets to patients and explaining the procedure and the risks and benefits as stated within the Patient information sheet, to facilitate the actual consent-taking by the doctors.
- Preparing discharge summaries for inpatients
- Basic clinical examination as part of data gathering to complete clinical questionaires.
- Data entry into clinical databases, registries, REDCap.
- Gathering clinical data (summary of patient history, investigation results, clinical pictures, scans) in preparation for clinical meetings, preparing slides & presenting the information.
- Liaise with various healthcare professionals as well as the patient to coordinate the patient's care plan and appointments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education / Training / Experience
- Bachelor degree in Healthcare is preferred
- Familiarity with clinical terminology and Woodlands Health acronyms
- Understand clinical coding
- Data analysis skills
