Manager/ Sr Manager - Operations, NHG Eye Institute
The Snr Manager/Manager, Operations NHG Eye Institute (NGHEI) leads the planning, development and management of resources within the Institute to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centered care across
both Clinical Operations and Primary Eye Care (PEC). As a seconded staff from NHGEI to TTSH Ops (Eye), the incumbent will also oversee day-to-day operations and service development for Eye Centre, Clinic 1A, Eye PACE, TVOS/IVT and related services. Also the manager will provide managerial oversight for PEC programmes including SiDRP,CEC and COCS. The role conducts quality assurance audits, monitors workflows and KRAs, and reviews policies and procedures to meet expected service outcomes andinstitutional objectives.
The Manager plays a proactive role in identifying, planning and implementing operational strategies to optimize utilization, productivity and revenue, while supporting workforce development and transformation.
In addition, the role will:
- Support the NHG Eye Institute Leadership in driving clinical and operational excellence.
- Galvanize and collaborate with different stakeholders as OneNHG to activate/effect interventions identified/designed towards achieving collective goals, such as but not limited to reducing SOC wait time, increasing mindshare of NHG Eye Institute (through publicity efforts).
Requirements
- Degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years’ operations experience; at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Understands and adheres to ethical and professional standards
- Meticulous and possess good organisational and coordination skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written, analytical and communication skills
- Good flair with numbers
- Driven, passionate and service minded
- Able to work well independently and as a team player; adept at multi-tasking
