JOB SUMMARY

 

  1. Strategise, design and implement the CHI Start-Up Enterprise Link (CHISEL) programme.
  2. Renew, manage and account for the funding for CHISEL.
  3. Forge new and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners and support the committees which drive innovation through CHISEL.
  4. Secure and manage sponsorship and funding for CHI Programmes.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

SPECIFIC

 

  1. Management of CHISEL Programme
    1. Planning and Preparation:
      1. Garner and secure funding support for CHISEL programme.
      2. Design and draft the programme format, theme and timeline for approval
      3. Ensure the proper drafting and signing of the funding support agreement with the funders
      4. Invite and brief the relevant stakeholders (e.g. Judges, Funders, Partners) about CHISEL
      5. Set up challenge platform (e.g. source vendors and raise PO) and coordinate with the awarded vendor to execute the challenge
      6. Arrange and conduct regular update meetings to the CHI senior management and funders.

 

    1. Open Call phase:
      1. Work with CHI communication team and relevant stakeholders e.g. funder to draft and implement EDM and publicity plan.
      2. Work with CHI partnership team to promote the programme to the CHI partners and their networks.
      3. Organise shortlisting rounds with the Judges and the relevant stakeholders such as Cluster Reps and Synapxe to ensure the transparency of the selection.
      4. Attend to the queries from the participants
      5. Update timely to all the relevant stakeholders on the progress of the Open Call and the outcome of each shortlisting rounds

 

    1. Test Bedding phase:
      1. Facilitate the signing of the test bedding agreement between the awarded solution providers with Funder, CHI and paired test bedding healthcare institutions.
      2. Conduct regular update and discussion meeting with the test bedding healthcare institutions to ensure transparent communication on the progress of the test bedding and collectively address the concern encountered during the test bed.
      3. Conduct regular update meeting with the funders on the progress of the test bedding projects.
      4. Ensure the engagement of the awarded solutions with all the CHISEL partner healthcare institutions (other than just paired test bedding partner)
      5. Ensure claims (by the project teams and to the funder) is done accurately and timely.

 

    1. Evaluation Phase:
  1. Work with CHI Evaluation Office to conduct assessment of project scope pre-testbed, and the evaluation of projects post-testbeds through the CHI Evaluation Framework (CHIEF).
  2. Work with CHISEL Evaluation Office (CHI EO) to review the test bedding projects.

 

    1. Adoption Phase:
  1. Work with interested healthcare institutions / clusters to facilitate grant application for adoption and integration (e.g. CP Grants).
  2. Work with ALPS to establish a green-lane procurement for successful testbed projects.

 

  1. Strategic Planning for CHISEL
    1. Evaluate the efficacy of CHISEL in order to develop strategic plans to ensure CHISEL remains relevant.
    2. Anticipate and respond to funders’ intent and requirements.
    3. Explore new avenues to ensure the sustainability of CHISEL as a programme.

 

  1. Management of Sponsorship and Funding for CHI Programmes
    1. Source funding for CHI programmes e.g. CHISEL, National HIP Award, MOH Coordinating Party Fund, NHG Adoption and Scale for Healthcare, CHI Innovate etc. This includes drafting and submitting proposals to the funding agencies.
    2. Ensure governance and compliance, and optimisation of processes related to the funding.
    3. Monitor progress and budget utilisation of funding, prepare management reports, and track performance and outcomes of funds.

 

  1. Leadership and staff development
    1. Provide leadership and guidance to staff under his/her supervision.
    2. Build strong team and promote a working environment that support work satisfaction.
    3. Identify and review learning needs for staff.

 

 

GENERAL

  • Act as the responsible member of the Hospital and participate in important events such as fire safety drills and safety audits.
  • Assist CHI director in preparing the training needs of the team via hospital’s learning needs analysis (LNA).
  • Any other duties as assigned by CHI directors.
