The Population Health Office (PHO) of the NHG Population Health (PopHealth) drives and supports the strategic development and implementation of the Population Health Transformation of the National Health Group (NHG), in support of national population health strategies and key programmes such as Healthier SG, Age Well SG, Grow Well SG.

    

The Manager, Engagement, is responsible for resident and community engagement and communications to drive the objectives of PopHealth. The key goal is to activate residents and their communities for pro-active and self-sustaining health behaviours, to achieve the common vision of Adding Years of Healthy Life.

 

Areas of Responsibility

 

Drive Resident Activation 

  • Plan and execute strategies and programs aimed at engaging residents and communities to promote health activation, supporting the overall population health transformation objectives. 
  • Partner with primary care providers, grassroots organizations, and public health teams to boost awareness and participation. 
  • Monitor enrolment trends and identify areas for outreach optimisation.  
  • Analyse data and behavioural insights to drive better uptake and timely completion, including for Healthier SG enrolment and health plan completion rate 

 

Build, support and enable community-led outreach 

  • Activate, train, and support residents who are passionate about reaching out to those in need within their communities.  
  • Co-create engagement materials and build resident capabilities to foster stronger, more caring communities driven by ground-up action, including for the connectors programme 

 

Innovate and redesign programmes to influence healthier behaviours 

  • Tap into existing programmes and reimagine reseeding, gamification, and behavioural nudges, to drive sustained health behaviour change. 
  • Drive awareness, engagement and grow participation in activities that encourages long-term lifestyle change, including for the benefits programme, Health Kampung 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree/diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, social media engagement, or community outreach, with a proven track record of driving awareness, action and participation.
  • Fluency in content creation and platform trends - Hands-on with short-form content (i.e. tiktok, IG reels) basic design tools (i.e. Canva) and platform-specific strategies to boost reach and engagement. You know how to craft content that resonates and gets shared.
  • Experience in organizing or supporting community events.
  • Ability to mobilise and inspire collective action. From energising volunteers and residents to rally them around shared health goals. Turning engagement into movement.
  • Creative and collaborative mindset.
  • Bonus if you've worked on public sector or health-related campaigns, or keen to learn.
