Manager, Data Analytics
1. JOB PURPOSE
The Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s strategic growth in Value-Based Care (VBC) under Clinical & Academic Development. This position is critical in driving initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and optimize resource utilization.
- Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring

- Analyze healthcare utilization and clinical data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor clinical outcomes and healthcare service utilization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure dashboards and indicators meet operational and strategic needs to drive Valued-Based Care in NHG Health.
- Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

- Support the Assistant Director in leading stakeholder engagement and drive strategic planning for Valued-Based Care initiatives across NHG.
- Contribute to work plan formulation and collaborate with cluster-wide multidisciplinary teams.
- Partner with external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), Synapxe, and other key organizations, to align processes and resource planning with VBC strategies.
- Data Infrastructure & Collaboration

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, data analysts, Finance, and IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and facilitate data sharing across NHG Health.
- Provide insights to strengthen systems that enable value-based care initiatives across the NHG cluster.
- Team Coordination & Process Optimization

- Assist in streamlining team efforts to scale and improve efficiency in data analytics, access to data and utilization.
- Drive initiatives that enhance team coordination and stakeholder engagement to accelerate VBC implementation.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education/Training/Experience

- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Direct experience in Project Management and Data Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, and/or R.
- Capable of interpreting complex data and deriving actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ability to lead discussions and collaborate effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary stakeholders across all levels and institutions.
- Ability to function as a change agent, fostering mindset shifts for cross-institutional, hospital-wide initiatives and cultivating a culture of collegiality and effective teamwork.
