1. JOB PURPOSE

The Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s strategic growth in Value-Based Care (VBC) under Clinical & Academic Development. This position is critical in driving initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and optimize resource utilization.

  1. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
    1. Analyze healthcare utilization and clinical data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    2. Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor clinical outcomes and healthcare service utilization.
    3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure dashboards and indicators meet operational and strategic needs to drive Valued-Based Care in NHG Health.
  1. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement
    1. Support the Assistant Director in leading stakeholder engagement and drive strategic planning for Valued-Based Care initiatives across NHG.
    2. Contribute to work plan formulation and collaborate with cluster-wide multidisciplinary teams.
    3. Partner with external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), Synapxe, and other key organizations, to align processes and resource planning with VBC strategies.
  1. Data Infrastructure & Collaboration
    1. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, data analysts, Finance, and IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and facilitate data sharing across NHG Health.
    2. Provide insights to strengthen systems that enable value-based care initiatives across the NHG cluster.
  1. Team Coordination & Process Optimization
    1. Assist in streamlining team efforts to scale and improve efficiency in data analytics, access to data and utilization.
    2. Drive initiatives that enhance team coordination and stakeholder engagement to accelerate VBC implementation.

Drive improvements through data analytics, including analyzing patients’ utilization and creation of condition specific dashboards to monitor improvements.

Conduct analysis and create dashboards to monitor condition specific measurements, aligned with workplan.

 

Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to align measurements and drive Value-Based Care improvements. This will include but not limited to the following objectives:

  1. To optimize key resources’ utilization and ensure cost effectiveness.
  2. To work with institutions to develop and maintain a financially sustainable value delivery system.
  3. To benchmark NHG’s performance nationally and internationally (where apt) in delivering value to patients, NOKs, and staff, and encourage a culture of sharing best practices.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  1. Education/Training/Experience
    1. Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
    2. Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Analytics, or a related discipline.
    3. Direct experience in Project Management and Data Analytics.
    4. Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, and/or R.
    5. Capable of interpreting complex data and deriving actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
    6. Ability to lead discussions and collaborate effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary stakeholders across all levels and institutions.
    7. Ability to function as a change agent, fostering mindset shifts for cross-institutional, hospital-wide initiatives and cultivating a culture of collegiality and effective teamwork.
