Core Competencies and Clinical Duties (80-90%)

Clinical Expertise:

• Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients across various conditions in community hospital settings including Orthopedics, Neurology, Geriatrics, Musculoskeletal, and more.
• Ability to develop patient-centered intervention plans and implement effective physiotherapy strategies.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills to identify impairments and make informed clinical decisions based on best practices and research evidence.

Administrative Skills:

• Manage caseloads effectively while adhering to medicolegal and governance guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date medical reports and statistics, and ensure compliance with billing procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital electronic medical records systems.

Teamwork and Professionalism:

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, actively engaging in patient education and supporting colleagues.
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities, fostering good relationships with healthcare professionals.

Other Duties (10-20%)

Continuous Education:

• Stay updated with the latest physiotherapy practices and contribute to the professional development of colleagues through training and peer reviews.

Supervisory Role:

• Assist in supervising therapy assistants and students during clinical placements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and contribute to departmental projects as needed.

• Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
