Locum / Perm - Sr Physiotherapist

Community Physiotherapist

Provide home physiotherapy services to residents living in the community. The aim of the Physiotherapy service is to optimize the patient’s independence and safety in their activities of living and mobility in the community.

You will be working with the community health team (CHT)

Challenges

You will assess, develop, and implement plans to help individuals achieve optimal functioning by improving and restoring skills in activities of daily living and mobility to integrate patients into their community.

You will assess the rehabilitation potential and needs of the residents and right- site them to the appropriate resources.

You will also educate and provide training for family members and caregiving on interventions and caregiving skills.

Staff can look forward to providing training, driving improvement and service developments within the department or in the community. 

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy recognised by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)

• Registered with AHPC with valid practising certificate

• Commitment in delivering excellent service

• Ability to work well inter-professionally

• Candidates with suitable experience may be considered for Senior Physiotherapist positions

• Locum - Flexible arrangements
