Job Description:

Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible to provide quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining standards for professional nursing practice and working cooperatively with other members of the healthcare team to provide integrated care. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assesses, and triage walk-in patient, and identifies the vulnerable and patients with high-risk conditions so that they will be attended to promptly.
  • Administers medication, performs treatment and attends to other medical orders according to hospital policy.
  • Assists and performs admission procedure and carry out treatment as required.
  • Reports pertinent observations and reactions of SOC patients to the clinicians and records them accurately and concisely.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in nursing procedures such as venipuncture, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and oral/ Nasopharyngeal swabbing taking techniques during pandemic situation or when require.
  • Provides health teaching to patients and their families as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in the management of patients.
  • Participate in neurostimulation treatment to patients

  1. Passion to work in the community
  2. Possess good interpersonal, communication, writing & IT skills
  3. Familiar with healthcare environment
  4. Able to work independently with good decision-making skills

 

Educational and Professional Requirements

  1. Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
