Position: Health Attendant (Transport)

Job Description:
Health Attendant (Transport) plays a crucial role in facilitating patient care and administrative functions, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient services while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- To deliver food, dry rations, clean linen, general supplies from the respective departments to wards.
- To collect general, biohazard, chemical and cytotoxic waste from wards and send to designated refuse room for disposal.
- To collect soiled linen, empty food trolley, empty linen trolley from wards for sending back to respective department.
- To operate tow truck and tow refuse, soiled linen and food trolley to and fro from wards to respective department.
- To perform regular maintenance of Tow Truck: cleaning, oiling, re-charging of batteries.
- To clean service lift, refuse room, soiled linen room, and ensure overall cleanliness of the service lift area.
- To maintain the mortuary and perform mortuary duties.
- To lead the team to ensure smooth operation and all infection control requirements are met.
- To assist Supervisor in managing operations and report any disruption/incident.
- To perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Competency
- Service-oriented, confident and have a passion for helping others.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable to work in Mortuary and driving tow truck (training will be provided).
Educational and Professional Requirements
- Min Primary education or GCE ‘N’/’O’ Level
- Able to speak, write and read simple English.
- Able to work shifts on Mon to Fri (7am to 3pm / 11am to 7pm), Weekend/PH (7am to 7pm)
