Group HR Policy Overview
The Group HR Policy is designed to ensure that the organization remains competitive and compliant in a rapidly changing workforce environment. It emphasizes the importance of staying informed about market best practices, regulatory changes, and the overall manpower climate. This proactive approach allows the organization to assess and anticipate potential implications for NHG, ensuring that policies are reviewed and updated in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Awareness: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and workforce dynamics to inform policy adjustments.
  2. Compliance Guidance: Provide expert guidance to Site HR teams to ensure adherence to Group Policies, aligning with the intent and principles of these policies.
  3. Policy Harmonization: Collaborate with policy representatives from various institutions to harmonize practices and effectively roll out group-level policies across all institutions.
  4. Legislation Translation: Translate the latest Ministry of Health (MOH) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) legislation and guidelines into actionable HR policies that align with organizational goals.
  5. Liaison Role: Serve as the primary liaison for NHG during cross-cluster and/or MOH policy discussions, ensuring effective communication and representation of NHG's interests.
  6. Project Involvement: Actively participate in various ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives at the Group HR level, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organization.

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: A minimum of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant HR experience, with a proven track record in leading teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, with advanced Excel skills being highly preferred.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulations is crucial. Experience with HRIS projects and implementations is a significant advantage.
