Financial Analyst

Broad Function

Be part of the team to support financial planning and analysis in Woodlands Health (WH) Scope of work includes but not limited to costing & pricing of services, providing analysis to improve productivity and efficiency, setting of budgets, preparation of management and departmental reports and scenario planning for new services/programs.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyse and reporting of monthly departmental reports (actual vs budget) and highlight any area of improvement.
  • Assist in the annual revenue and projection cycles.
  • Performing costing and pricing for the services/programs/new initiatives.
  • Provide financial analytics support for valued based initiatives.
  • To participate in understanding system relationship, system structure and end-to-end flow (ie. Costing Systemisation project).   
  • To assist in system setup including performing UAT.
  • Performing of cost allocation cycle run to ensure overheads cost are distributed to departments.
  • To perform feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis and to build scenarios relating to new/existing projects or programs.
  •  Any adhoc projects as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Statistics/Business Analytics
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in healthcare industry with management accounting or data analytics as an added advantage
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous, adaptable and comfortable with changes
  • Good written, oral communication and inter-personal skills
  • Proactive and team player mind-set
  • Financial modelling skill will be an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP/Excel. National Billing System/Tableau or analytical tools will be an advantage
