Executive/Senior Executive, Staff Protection Office

Job Summary: You will assist the Assistant Manager/Manager to provide support to the hospital’s objectives in the prevention and management of staff abuse and harassment by external perpetrators.

Job responsibilities

  1. Post-incident Management of Staff Abuse and Harassment Cases
    1. Support implementation of Staff Protection Function in IMH
    2. Track and compile staff abuse and harassment incidents; and provide necessary post incident support to the victims
    3. Receive request for incident assistance and clarifying of incidence reported by liaising with various stakeholders, e.g., questions about reporting process, escalation guidelines, tips for affected staff, workflows and etc
    4. Keep track, consolidate and submission of KPIs report, as required
    5. Co-ordinate and activate pool of crisis support staff to provide emotional support to the affected
  2. Build Awareness and Facilitate trainings
    1. Plan, organise and facilitate literacy and training events for staff (staff and supervisor), in the form of both eLearn and physical trainings
    2. Support the communication plan to raise workforce awareness on protection and prevention of staff abuse and harassment, including national public education campaign
    3. Maintain and update shared materials, including polices, on protection and prevention of staff abuse and harassment, including training resources
  3. Administrative and General Duties
    1. Provide secretariat support, including minutes writing, for the office and any other committees
    2. Support KPIs submissions for reporting purposes
    3. Provide support to new/enhancement projects related to staff abuse and harassment
    4. Assist to carry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  2. Experience in healthcare/hospitality/ customer-fronting industry preferred
  3. Good communication skills  (verbal and written)
  4. Good command of basic IT skills, e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition and ability to work well and interact with people at all levels
  6. Independent worker, possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
