Executive (FOOD NUTRITION)

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative Executive with a background in nutrition, food science and/or food technology to join our team. This role will support the development and implementation of preventive health interventions (e.g. healthy eating programmes) in school, workplace and/or community settings, aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among children and their families.

 

The ideal candidate is a strong team player with a growth mindset who brings creativity, initiative, and strong communication skills to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. He/she is passionate about working with youths and adults, with a genuine commitment to promoting their health and well-being through engaging, age-appropriate interventions. A keen eye for details, creativity and critical thinking are valuable assets in this role.

 

This is a 18-months full-time contract employment with the option for further extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct food product reviews and assist in evaluating ingredient suitability for healthier eating initiatives.
  • Perform nutrition analysis for new and revised recipes.
  • Support the development of recipe cards, recipe books and instructional materials (eg. Videos).
  • Support filming and production logistics of video production.
  • Liaise with partners and stakeholders involved in healthier eating initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Support relevant preventive health intervention development and delivery.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Nutrition, Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.

 

Experience:

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a nutrition-related role.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant academic background and strong interest in preventive health/ nutrition will also be considered.
  • Experience in recipe development, product evaluation or content creation will be advantageous.
