Job Scope
You will assist the Head of Pharmacy Practice in driving innovation and excellence in professional development for the NHG Pharmacy workforce. This includes developing and implementing cutting-edge training programs, providing learning support to staff and managers, developing relevant curricula, and monitoring professional competencies. Your role will help position NHG Pharmacy as a leader in pharmacy practice development while creating an engaging environment that attracts and retains talented pharmacy professionals.
You will also assist the Head of Pharmacy Practice in monitoring clinical performance of pharmacy services and support initiatives and activities to optimize processes and deliver safe and quality care.
Major Duties and Responsibilites
1) Learning and Development
-
To work with Senior Management on developing innovative professional training initiatives that align with the organization's key clinical indicators and future healthcare trends.

To assist in the planning, review and update of Staff Professional Learning Roadmaps, incorporating novel learning approaches that align with emerging pharmacy practices

To source for and liaise with training providers for relevant training courses to enhance professional development and staff engagement.

To assist in review and evaluation of the clinical training programmes, ensuring they remain exciting and relevant for healthcare professionals in NHG Pharmacy.

To ensure staff are registered for Professional development courses in a timely manner, training records are updated and collated into a monthly report

To regularly review and modernize the staff orientation programmes and on-the-job training

To oversee secretariat support for and contribute actively in the Professional Development Workgroup, promoting innovative ideas and best practices
2) Pharmacy Practice

To assist in the design and administration of clinical competency assessments using creative methods

To identify and propose innovative ways to enhance pharmacy practice and professional growth opportunities

To provide administrative support in pharmacist clinical services (in Community Care and Longterm Care sectors) and the respective clinical audits of professional staff.
3) General
-
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

To be involved in workplace improvement projects/activities as and when required.

To actively seek and propose innovative solutions that enhance the professional development environment and staff engagement within NHG Pharmacy
Job Requirements

Vocational and Technical Skills
-
A degree with at least 2 years of training &/or pharmacy-related experience
-
A training qualification or similar is preferred.

Good IT skills are preferred

Experience in training delivery is preferred.

Experience in developing training curricula is an advantage

Must have initiative, drive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be team-oriented

Possess good interpersonal, organisational, analytical skills

Exhibit good writing, presentation and communication skills
