STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

 

The Innovation & Improvement (I&I) Office plays a strategic role in positioning Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Health (KTPH & YH) for future success. I&I is dedicated to driving organisational changes that enhance the hospital’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives efficiently and effectively. I&I focuses on achieving superior outcomes in process, service and quality improvement through:

  • Facilitating Improvement Initiatives: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to initiate and drive improvement projects, supported by meaningful data and analytics.
  • Building Capabilities: Enhancing improvement skills and capabilities across the hospital.
  • Fostering Innovation: Cultivating an innovation culture within the hospital.

 

The Executive/Senior Executive role focuses on the detailed planning and facilitating the implementation of improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing organisational performance and efficiency. The individual collaborates across departments to identify areas for improvement, develop strategic plans, and execute solutions that drive operational excellence.

 

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. SPECIFIC

 

  1. Analyse Processes: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
  2. Project Management: Co-lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
  3. KPI Monitoring: Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  4. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the progress and impact of improvement projects to key stakeholders.
  5. Supporting continuous improvement: Work closely with doctors, nurses, allied health, operations staff and other support departments to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  1. Align the department's goals with the business goals of the hospital.
  2. Provide secretariat and administrative support to the department and hospital.
  3. Support all corporate activities.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

  1. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

 

    • Minimally hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years in service industry/health-care related areas preferred.
    • Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel preferred.
    • Facilitation skills preferred.
    • Comfortable with uncertainty in work assignments.
    • Excellent written and analytical skills.
