JOB DESCRIPTION
As a vital member of the Group Human Resources team, the Executive will play a key role in supporting the Group Development Awards portfolio under the guidance of the Manager, Group Scholarships and Awards. The responsibilities include:
- Ensuring alignment of development awards with the overall organizational objectives and equipping identified staff with the necessary skills to contribute effectively at organizational, group, and national levels.
- Supporting the annual review of development awards for relevance and effectiveness, making recommendations for updates and changes as necessary, and ensuring timely communication of changes and information.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of the annual awards cycle, which includes conducting briefings for institutional representatives, collating award nominations, performing preliminary reviews and assessments of incoming nominations, and preparing for awards review panel meetings.
- Continuously reviewing and streamlining the awards nomination and administration processes to enhance efficiency.
- Participating as a member of the organizing committee for the annual awards ceremony.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects related to Group Scholarships and Awards and Human Resources as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline in Human Resources.
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR development role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in managing a scholarships and awards portfolio is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
