The Executive at the Pre-Professional Education Office (PPEO) is responsible for overseeing clinical teaching for undergraduate students in Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). This role involves leading a team and working closely with key education leaders to manage various aspects of pre-professional clinical education.

 

Job Duties

  • Education Programme Management: Ensure the efficient operation of pre-professional education programmes while maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders such as education institutions and clinical departments.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor faculty assessments and student feedback to enhance the quality of educational programmes. Implement improvements and adhere to quality guidelines and standards, ensuring smooth programme operations and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Financial Oversight: Prepare and justify budgets, monitor expenses. The role also includes improving financial processes to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource management for programmes, strategise and execute facility and equipment upgrades to align with programme requirements, handle resource maintenance and replacement planning.

 

The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-professional education programmes, maintaining relationships with educational institutions and clinical departments. On top of the primary job duties, candidate may also be involved in supporting various initiatives and projects within PPEO. Overall, this role requires strong organisational, financial, and interpersonal skills to drive the success of pre-professional clinical education at TTSH.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of working experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and deliver results to meet timelines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate independence and initiative within the scope of the position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fresh Degree graduates may be considered.
