MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

(A)       SPECIFIC (90%)

 

  1. Establish appropriate policies, procedures and internal control for activities in      the department.
  2. Review processes and resources, and to recommend changes to improve efficiency, utilization and service recovery.
  3. Responsible for requisition of system access id, name card, name stamp, etc  for new hire/staff (Radiographers, Nurses, PSA, HCA and Admin) Manage centre operations to ensure good and timely delivery of services to patients, staff and internal customers.
  4. Compile and collate statistics to assist the Manager in monitoring performance indicators in the perspective sections.
  5. Plan and prepare budgets that are consistent with formulated plans and strategies to steer the department towards better and improved services and at the same time keep abreast with rapid technology advancement and external competition.
  6. Work closely with the NGEMR/IT Team to ensure seamless workflow between the Radiological Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archival Communications System (PACS).
  7.    Monitor the utilization and balance of the department equipment training fund.
  8. Assist the manager in staff TPM preparation. Collating of data (staff training hours, medical leave etc) and disseminate it to TPM ROs. Prepare TPM listing for ROs.
  9. Assist the manager in audit preparation, collating and retrieving of documents.
  10. Manage staff in daily duties, which include developing , counselling and appraising staff at Intervals
  11. Address, monitor patient feedback and implementations to enhance patient service delivery.
  12. Responsible for drafting TAC, Approval papers for Radiology, Medical and Devices with consolidation of documentation of purchases and equipment maintenance.
  13. Assisting the Department Manager in managing Operations staff and ensuring workflows are incorporated and well collaborated with the rest of the DDR team.
  14. Responsible for drawing Data for with Analysis Monthly/Quarterly for monitoring of productivity and utilization of the department.
  15. Responsible for PowerPoint presentations for Departmental Meetings and drafting of meeting notes/minutes.

 

 

(B)       GENERAL (10%)

 

  1. Booking of facilities in the hospital for meetings, seminars etc

 

  1. Responsible for Maintenance of office equipment

 

  1. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
