Executive/ Senior Executive EP

You will assist the Senior/Manager in governance, planning and implementing EP activities, working through clinic operations team to ensure efficient and effective resource utilization, management of the clinic operations.

 

The main duties are:

 

  1. Emergency Preparedness (EP):

 

  1. Front as the NHGP EP Coordinator (in liaising with MOH and related agencies).
  2. Ensure NHGP is operationally ready for emergencies (e.g. civil emergencies, pandemic outbreak, national emergencies, electricity shutdown, fires, etc)
  3. Ensure NHGP is prepared and ready to support MOH during a National Emergency, Civil Emergency and/or other healthcare related emergencies or situations that threaten the health of our populations. These include, but not limited to:
  • Mass Casualty
  • Pandemic Outbreak
  • Haze (Business Disruption)
  • Adverse weather conditions
  1. Support new polyclinics planning (infrastructure, staff training, etc) with regards to EP requirements.
  2. Work with NHG polyclinics in directing the conduct of table-top or full-scale exercises/drills to test current NHGP SOP for EP and to revise plans as required in ensuring NHGP is always ready.
  3. Organize and/or conduct briefing/training on emergency preparedness & security matters to staff as per work plan.

 

 

  1. Security:

 

  1. Represent NHGP (Alternate Point-of-Contact) for security related matters under the MOH Security Framework.
  2. Propose security initiatives to Senior Management for approval and communicate to all staff and work with the polyclinic management team to implement initiatives under the MOH Security Framework
  3. Establish the NHGP Security Committee to ensure initiatives to protect the physical aspect of the polyclinics are being implemented as indicated in the MOH Security Framework
  4. Review security measures, propose and implement measures to enhance the security of in the polyclinics
  5. Liaise with the Singapore Police Force to conduct activities in NHGP to raise security awareness.
  6. Establish security and other security related plans required by MOH for all polyclinics.
  7. Ensure that individual polyclinic procures required items that provide security to the staff and patients in the respective premises
  8. Conduct table-top exercise or full-scale exercise (e.g., bomb threat) to test current NHGP SOP and to ensure readiness of response to such a situation.
  9. Source and coordinate relevant training courses to enhance the security related skills & knowledge of clinic staff
  10. Advise on security requirements in the planning (infrastructure) of new polyclinics

 

 

  1.     Data Analytics

(a) Drive a data-driven culture by empowering clinic operations to actively use data and tools to enhance daily work by making decisions more successful and initiatives more effective.

(b) Develop, implement and maintain Key Performance Indicators and related reports so as to provide meaningful feedback on EP/Security operations performance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1.     MOH Projects

 

  1. Participate in MCI sub working group and assigned MOH EP related workgroup, develop Ex RAVEN

(b) Support MOH’s special projects such as deployment of DSMC Ops and exercises, as well as representing MOH in WoG Emergency Operations Committee (EoC)

 

 

  1. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To be responsible for MOH Incident Reporting matters and follow through (Incident Management Framework). 
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
