Executive (Training Management)
1. Training Operations and Programme Administration
- Comprehensive understanding of the requirements and objectives of various training programmes and stakeholders
- Oversee the implementation of programmes; including discussions and negotiation with programmes partners, stakeholders, internal and external faculty on programmes objectives
- Provide guidance and advice to resolve complex training issues
- Develop and review training administration and operations processes
- Manage department resources and staff effectively to obtain optimal systemic results
- Negotiate and liaise with external training consultants and vendors on agreements and proposals, as well as doing the necessary for procurement processes
- Develop, prepare and recommend programme budget and costing for course fees, and necessary information for College annual budget for programmes and initatives, with inputs and planning from stakeholders
- Prepare and present meetings and committees materials and notes
- Maintain participants’ records and elearning system for training and programmes
- Maintain and monitor elearning system and support participants’ learning queries
2. Learning Design and Curriculum Development
- Coordinate and assist to develop training resources with relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) and curriculum committees (NHG, MOH)
- Support learning design and curriculum development, wherever applicable, as a member or secretariat to curriculum committees
- Participate in the development of programme curriculum and assessment methods, including courseware and materials with inputs from SMEs or curriculum committees
- Review programme documentations, including lesson plan, programme outline and assessment plan to ensure that it meets College requirements
- Manage curriculum and programme development, validation and evaluation with inputs from SMEs or curriculum committeess
3. Corporate Governance, Innovation and Improvement
- Take a active and leading role in developing and promoting the strategies to seek continuous improvements in quality of training services and processes, and to meet compliance requirements such as programme accreditation and service quality
- Plan and recommend strategies to leverage on technology that enhances process flows in learning and training management
- Recommend and evaluate training performance indicators for training effectiveness
- Engage faculty to evaluate, implement and utilise learning technologies, systems and processes
- Research and analyse internal and external learning technological trends, and recommend new technologies for learning
4. NHG College initiatives
- Lead College members in recommending and executing appropriate initiatives for the purpose of improving College development, including staff development, programme inmprovement and faculty development, with minimal supervision from College management
- Engage, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders (within the department and external) in developing and implementing the process improvements
- Seek opportunities to form alliances/networks with internal and external stakeholders and use network to influence others to the benefit of College team.
