The OPTIMA-C (Targeting osteosarcopaenia and multimobidity for frailty prevention through identification and deep phenotyping methods in healthy aging and high-burden disease cohorts) research programme aims to identify, phenotype and intervene in the at-risk, mildly frail population.

 

The research programme is a multi-centre and multidisciplinary effort bringing toether reaserch talents from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), TTSH Rehabilitation Centre and Centre of Rehabilitation Excellence (CORE), NHG Polyclinics (NHGP) and Institute of Geratrics and Active Aging (ICA), and the Departments of Endocrinology and Orthopaedics, in close partnerships with sister institutes from Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS) and Lee Kong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine. 

 

The ultimate objective of the programme is to prevent downstream adverse outcomes of frailty such as falls and functional decline as well as institutionalization, thus reducing healthcare costs in the long-term.

 

We are seeking a Senior Executive / Executive, who will be the Project Manager of this research programme.  

 

He/she will spearhead, plan and oversee all aspects of the programme to ensure the successful completion within the defined direction, scope and budget.  He/she is resourceful and adept in understandig the needs of the research team as well as work closely with the programme leads. 

 

He/she will need to be dynamic, confident and decisive in leading and overseeing the completion of the individual projects that make up the research programme. 

 

The role requires the following:-

  • Drive programme to meet schedules, budget and manpower targets together with research programme leads.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to all activities releated to the OPTIMA-C research programme
  • Work closely with respective programme lead(s) and stakeholders to ensure that the work is proceeding well and on time as well as gain an agreement on programme goals and deliverables.
  • Guide team to deliver on the overall research programme objectives.
  • Provide support for budget management, progress of projects, and personnel management under his or her charge and report in the project charter.
  • Conduct review of research programme plans at regular intervals to identify any problems that can be rectified or readjusted.

 

Requirement

  • Graduate qualifications in nursing, science, business or project management
  • Familiar with programme/project management tools and/or software.  Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
  • Have good working knoweldge of Good Clinical Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Cinical Research, Clinical Trial process and related regulatory
  • Familiar with Medical and Research Ethics requirements and terminology
  • Equip with strategic, operational and management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
