Executive (Data Analyst), People Development)
Reporting to the Director, CHI People Development Office, the Data Analyst will play a key role in structuring department data (collecting, processing, analysing), designing and implementing database schemas and programs, and generating actionable insights for reporting and decision making. The Data Analyst will leverage data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create intuitive and impactful dashboards. This role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement related to data analysis, contributing to the organization’s overall strategic goals. You will also be responsible for:
- Develop, implement, and maintain databases and systems for capturing, storing and organizing learning-related data
- Use data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) to extract, analyse, and interpret learning data, identifying trends and insights that inform L&D strategies and operations
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports on key metrics budget utilisation, course completion rates, and training effectiveness
- Streamline workflows across the L&D team to enhance efficiency, reduce duplication of effort, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant teams to integrate systems and automate data flows between platforms.
Requirements:
- A degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- More than 5 years of experience in data management, analysis, or a related field, preferably in Learning and Development
- Experience with learning management systems is preferred
- Proficiency in database management, and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Python)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
