JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the HR Data Scientist role is to leverage data analytics and statistical methods to enhance human resource functions and support informed decision-making processes. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive data analytics, predictive modelling, sentiment analysis, reporting automation, and data visualization and presentation. The HR Data Scientist will analyse and interpret HR data to uncover valuable insights that empower the organization to make strategic workforce decisions, particularly in enhancing talent recruitment, development, and retention strategies. This role supports various HR teams in HR data analysis and involves collaboration with various institutions under NHG. Additionally, the candidate will explore innovative AI solutions to optimize HR processes and share data analysis knowledge and new technologies with HR colleagues.

 

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HR Data Analytics

o Conduct comprehensive HR data analytics and predictive modelling

o Perform sentiment analysis and uncover actionable insights

o Identify trends and insights to improve HR strategies, policies, and programs

2. HRIS Reporting and Automation

o Perform complex data manipulation and aggregation from multiple HR data sources

o Create data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports for HR leadership

o Automate reporting processes

o Collaborate with other institution representatives for NHG group reporting

3. HR Projects

o Provide project support and management of HR Projects

4. AI Exploration and Implementation

o Research and propose AI solutions to optimize HR processes

o Collaborate on AI integration and evaluation

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(a) Education/Training/Experience

1. Degree Holder in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or relevant majors

2. Solid understanding of Statistical Analysis/Machine Learning principle

3. Ability to perform descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics across large data sets

4. Experience in advanced statistical methods around machine learning, and text mining

5. Proficient with statistical programming language Python and R

6. In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel

7. Knowledge of RPA tools such as Uipath will be considered favourably

8. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences

9. Experience in building interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
