JOB DESCRIPTION

 

This person will be part of the Clinician Scientist Development Office in NHG Group Research and Innovation. He/She will be expected to work on a diverse array of projects, support various initiatives related to research and other offices in NHG Research and Innovation. While a brief JD is given below, details are provided under section 4.

 

  1. Provide secretariat support for strategic/working committees and the Academy of Clinician Scientists and Innovators (ACSI) e.g. scheduling of meetings, proposing meeting agenda, drafting of slides, minutes taking, collation of pre-meeting slides;
  2. Lead outreach initiatives and events that support and promote Research and Innovation talent development e.g. networking sessions, research bootcamps, thematic symposiums;
  3. Support publicity of CSDO and ACSI e.g. website maintenance and updates, designing and development of posters, video for events and conferences and circulating of publicity materials etc;
  4. Support administrative activities related to programmes and grants which support the development of a Clinician Scientist/Innovator, e.g. facilitating research and innovation joint appointments with LKCMedicine, publicity preparation and dissemination, application collation, expenditure and KPI tracking, budget reporting;
  5. Partake / Lead in intra- and inter-departmental assignments and projects as required

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

​​​​​​​a. Education/Training/Experience

  • At least a good Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or Life sciences/Health Sciences with at least 2 years of experience in the public healthcare/academic sector.
  • Experience in events / project / grant management and/or publicity/marketing is an added advantage.

  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, time management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently, and able to understand the needs of various stakeholders
  • Strong team player who is proactive, results-oriented, meticulous
