DSC (31 Kelantan Lane), our outpatient clinic for the diagnosis, treatment and control of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in Singapore.
Roles and Responsibilities
Results Management and Clinical Governance
- Oversee patient recall and follow-up workflows, ensuring a structured governance framework for results management.
- Proactively track all laboratory results and ensure patients diagnosed with infections receive timely and appropriate care.
National STI Registry and Surveillance
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of STI notifications from DSC and NSC to the national STI registry (CDLens).
- Liaise with CDA/MOH on surveillance reports and national statistics.
KPI Tracking and Strategic Surveillance
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) reportable to CDA, such as number of repeat STI infections within a rolling 12-month period.
- Identify trends from KPI data and collaborate with the clinical team to plan interventions that reduce reinfection and improve outcomes.
Diagnosis Coding for Disease Surveillance
- Ensure accurate and timely diagnosis coding in EPIC to support national disease surveillance.
Public Health Education and Research
- Support public health research and education initiatives relevant to STI control and surveillance.
Job requirements
- Degree in Health Science, Health Promotion, Public Health, Business Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
