Executive, Clinical Ops (Surgical)
Specific
- Analyse and identify the population’s detailed health care needs within the designated catchment area of Woodlands Health (WH), to support the development of clinical services plan and population health strategy.
- Identify, develop and implement the clinical services required to meet these needs by the proposed acute and community hospitals, as well as the nursing homes and primary/community services primary care sector within WH’s catchment.
- Work with the clinical leads to define and review clinical service requirements and workload.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative care delivery models to meet the projected care needs and integrated care.
- Review facilities, equipment and instrument requirements to ensure the necessary standardization and compliance with clinical needs, and defined norms.
- Support the planning of medical equipment requirements and procurement.
- Coordinate the inputs from clinical and user leads to drive IT service planning for the WH.

- Work with clinical leads to support the development of appropriate clinical criteria and workflows.
- Support the development and implementation of community based care including developing off campus clinical services as well as collaboration and capability enhancement/sharing with community partners including private and voluntary-welfare organisations operating in or near the WH catchment.
- To support in the development of the necessary approval papers and tender/legal documents.
- Where instructed or necessary, collaborate with MOH and other governmental bodies to facilitate the WHC planning.
- Support the annual division work plan and budgeting exercise.
General
- Where directed by Head, Director or Chief, Clinical Operations, to support in other WH-related projects and tasks.
