Executive, (Temp) Group HR
Job Description:
As a member of Group Human Resources, the incumbent will support the portfolio of Group Development Awards under the guidance of the Manager, Group Scholarships and Awards. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure that development awards are aligned to the overall organisational objectives and direction, and to equip staff with the necessary skills to contribute at organisational, group and national levels
- Support the annual review of the development awards for relevancy, effectiveness and make recommendations for updates and changes as needed. And also, to ensure that change and information are cascaded in an effective and timely manner
- Support the annual awards cycle including conducting briefing for institutions’ representatives, consolidating awards nomination, performing preliminary review and assessment of incoming nominations, preparing awards review panel meetings
- Continuously review and streamline awards nomination and administration processes for improved efficiency
- Participate as a member of the annual awards ceremony organising team
- Undertake ad-hoc projects relating to Group Scholarships and Awards and Human Resources as assigned
Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in a Business Administration or Human Resources related discipline preferably
- Preferably with 1-3 years of experience in a HR generalist or HR Development-related role. Prior experience in scholarships and training awards portfolio will be advantageous but not mandatory. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong in project management, planning and prioritisation
- Meticulous and attentive to details and numbers
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Ability to work and collaborate in a dynamic environment
