[Evergreen - do not use]HR Business Partner Manager
The incumbent will be part of the HR Partner team who provides HR consultation and services to management and staff. He/ She will develop HR plans and initiatives that are aligned to and support the achievement of business objectives of the assigned departments. The HR consultation and services include but is not limited to talent attraction and retention, performance management, compensation, talent development and employee engagement. The incumbent will also play an integral role to implement human resource strategies as well as contribute to other HR and/or organization-wide projects.
- Partner with the shared services team to deliver a full spectrum of HR services to all levels of staff in compliance with HR policies, audit requirements and legal obligations (e.g. Employment Act, CPF & IRAS regulations)
- Provide advice and guidance to Line Management on performance management related matters, resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Monitor and report on manpower and succession plans.
- Develop clear understanding of business/ function needs and objectives, analyse trends and metrics to provide effective HR solutions to the stakeholders.
- Participate in leadership meetings and proactively provide inputs in the development of business and operational plans/ initiatives
- Align and achieve synergies with other HR teams in processes related to performance appraisal exercises, mass salary reviews and bonus exercises, recognition and developmental awards’ nominations and budget exercises.
- Proactively identify gaps in the existing processes, propose and drive changes necessary to establish good HR practices.
- Partner with CoE and other partners to develop and strengthen the managerial and leadership capabilities and succession pipelines of the organization
Requirements
- Degree in HR or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant working experience as a HR Business Partner.
- Good working knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices.
- Comfortable working on numbers, performing analysis, preparing proposals and presenting to stakeholders
- Able to engage, guide and partner with senior leaders on strategic HR matters
- Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Analytical and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills with the ability to analyse and present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Adaptable and reliable, with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Takes initiative and is able to work independently while also being an effective team player
