Job Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team and provide essential patient care services. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment whilst contributing to positive patient outcomes under the guidance of experienced nursing professionals. 

 

Patient Care and Clinical Support  

The successful candidate will provide fundamental nursing care and assist in creating a therapeutic environment for patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of comprehensive patient care under the supervision of Nurse Clinicians and Registered Nurses. 

 

Clinical Procedures and Assessments  

Your role will involve performing various clinical procedures including simple dressing changes, venepuncture, electrocardiograms (ECG), and oral/nasopharyngeal swabbing. You will be responsible for observing, monitoring, and recording patient vital signs, promptly reporting any significant changes to the Registered Nurse. Additionally, you will assess and identify vulnerable patients and those with high-risk conditions to ensure they receive timely attention. 

 

Specialised Care  

You will demonstrate competence in caring for vulnerable patients and those undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). The role requires implementing nursing interventions and procedures according to established care plans, policies, and protocols whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. 

 

Administrative and Coordination Duties  

The position involves accompanying patients to other departments for treatment or admission, assisting with family arrangements for patient reviews, and managing doctors' orders and family notifications. You will also facilitate the triage process for walkins patients without appointments, coordinate with doctors, and notify patients of appointments and consultation charges. 

 

Quality and Safety Standards  

You will implement nursing care in accordance with established hospital standards, policies, and procedures. Maintaining strict infection control standards in all patient care activities is essential, as it is participating in periodic reviews of intervention effectiveness and patient responses to medication.

Competency

  1. Familiar with healthcare environment 

  1. Able to work independently with good decision-making skills 

 

 

Educational and Professional Requirements 

  1. Professional Certificate / NITEC in Nursing 

  1. Must be enrolled with Singapore Nursing Board 

  1. No working experience required 

  1. Willing to do shift work 

  1. 5 days work week arrangement
