The Engineering Internship Programme (EIP) is designed to provide undergraduate students with a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a healthcare setting. This programme focuses on the maintenance, operation, and improvement of medical devices, preparing interns for real-world challenges in biomedical engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & Maintenance
  • Medical Equipment Procurement & Evaluation.
  • Knowledge Management & Process Improvement.


Learning Objectives:

  • Enhance communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Gain hands-on experience with medical devices.
  • Develop project management skills and an understanding of departmental and organizational needs.
  • Learn about change management and implement real-world solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred), Computing Science or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Able to commit to a full-time internship schedule.
