Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing projects, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and daily operations activities for biomedical engineering systems. The role involves performing duties across a broad scope of biomedical systems to ensure patient safety and safe usage through proper maintenance, testing and calibration. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, liaise with user departments and vendors, manage service contracts, commission new equipment, and provide technical support for IT integration issues. The position also involves preparing reports, participating in procurement processes, providing guidance to technical officers, and supporting various departmental projects and meetings.
Job Requirements: • Engineering Degree with 2 years' experience, OR Biomedical Engineering Diploma with 8 years' experience, OR Engineering NITEC with 14 years' experience (Fresh Engineering graduates may be considered) • Must be motivated and independent with ability to work on maintenance matters and projects • Strong technical knowledge to handle complex technical problems • Understanding of clinical engineering principles • Knowledge in IT integration for biomedical systems • Experience in Hospital or Healthcare industry preferred • Knowledge in drafting technical specifications for biomedical systems (preferred) • Knowledge in evaluation of biomedical systems (preferred) • Strong communication and customer service skills • Team player with ability to work collaboratively across departments
