Deputy Director

The Deputy Director shall support the Director, Clinical Transformation to formulate integrated care strategies and support the clinicians in development of programmes to achieve NHG aims in preventive and integrated care.

 

He/She shall work closely with Group Chairman, Medical Board (GCMB) in the development of new Steering Committee(s) and associated Workgroup(s).  In addition, the Deputy Director shall provide guidance to the junior colleagues to support the new and existing SCs and WGs in fulfilling their objectives, development and follow up on the workplans.

 

The scope also includes overseeing the execution with accountability for the approved milestones/ budgets/ timelines and in compliance with directions given by the Reporting Officer.

 

Job Description

  • Guide staff in providing secretariat support to SCs and WGs
    • Communications with Chairs and Leads
    • Development of Agenda and materials
    • Review and vet minutes of meeting or notes of meeting
    • Development and issuance of Letters of Appointment (LOA) and Terms of Reference (TOR)
    • Development and monitoring of workplans
  • Working closely with PHI and PHC to sharpen ground-sensing and environmental scanning for clinical focus areas to form systemic insights on care gaps, stakeholders and ground challenges, that could be used to improve care integration.
  • Work with Clinical SC Chairs and WG leads to develop, implement, and refine clinical strategies and integrated programmes.
  • Work with programmes leads and secretariat team in the development and submission of integrated care programmes paper(s) for funding
  • Keep track of project / programmes timeline and timely submission of papers etc
  • Supports administrative, reporting, budgeting, management approvals, presentations, procurement, agreements and other related works under
  • Support corporate initiatives under NHG HQ

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(a) Education/Training/Experience

    • Masters or Post graduate qualification in Management is preferred
    • Minimally Bachelor Degree, preferably in healthcare related discipline, with at least 6 years of experience in a Managerial role in healthcare sector
    • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, abilities in managing internal /external stakeholders well, and leading and successfully implemented projects in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent in writing skills
