The Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine is looking for passionate and experienced doctors who aspire to make a difference to people’s lives. The department is a national leader in Neuroanesthesia and Neurocritical care, Surgical Intensive care as well as Regional Anaesthesia. We provide anaesthestic services to 24 operating theatres (OT) in the hospital as well as the endoscopy and radiological suites.

Associate Consultant / Consultant / Senior Consultant

The Specialist (AC/C/SC) will be responsible for providing anaesthesia care to patients in the perioperative period. In addition, you are expected to provide pre-operative evaluation, preparation & counselling to patients in the Pre-admission Assessment, Counselling & Evaluation (PACE) Clinic and management of acute pain after surgery. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in clinical research as well as teaching of medical students, junior and senior residents during the course of the work in the department.

Requirements

Candidate must possess a recognised basic medical qualification and postgraduate qualification such as M Med, FANZCA, FRCA, FCAI and American Board of Anaesthesiology certificate which is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and also have completed a recognised advanced specialist training programme acceptable for accreditation as a Specialist Anaesthetist with the Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) and Ministry of Health (MOH).
