Community Psychiatric Nurse for Crisis Response Team (CRT):

 

Successful incumbent will work with Mobile Crisis Team to conduct home visits and performs crisis assessment which include risks assessments and bio-psychosocial assessments for clients in the community.

 

He/she will be working closely with IMH Psychiatrists, Mental Health Helpline Counsellors, and Allied Health professionals. He/she will need to work hand in hand with Community Partners including but not exclusive to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on cases referred for Suicide Risk Assessments /community interventions.

 

He/she is also required to collect data for monitoring and evaluating clients' progress over time.

 

Requirements:

 

· Registered Nurse with SNB

 

· Possession of a RMN (Registered Mental Nurse)/Adv Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, or equivalent qualifications

 

· Experience in psychiatric setting for at least 4 years, AND at least 6 months experience in Acute/Emergency settings

 

. Experience working in community is preferred

 

· Passion to work in the community

 

· Possess good interpersonal, communication, writing & IT skills

 

· Familiar with healthcare environment

 

· Able to work independently with good decision-making skills

 

· Able to work in a team and with people from other institutions/organizations

 

· Willing to do 24/7 shift work

 

· Willing to travel up to several times a day for purposes of responding to mental health crisis
