Community Engagement and Operations Manager, HEAL (2-Year Contract)

The Community Engagement and Operations Manager will be responsible for fostering collaboration and engagement within the community regarding artificial intelligence initiatives at NHG. This role involves organizing resources, facilitating discussions, content creation and project managing programs to enhance understanding and application of AI in healthcare.  

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Resource Organization:
    • Identify and curate resources: Collaborate with track leads to compile a comprehensive list of AI-related resources, including articles, case studies, tools, and software that can be beneficial for the community.
    • Develop and maintain a repository: Update an easily accessible online platform or database where community members can find and utilize these resources effectively. Regularly update the repository to include the latest advancements and findings in AI.
  2. Community Engagement:
    • Organize community discussions: Plan and host regular meetings, webinars, focus on various aspects of AI in healthcare, encouraging participation from diverse groups.
    • Engage stakeholders: Actively reach out to healthcare professionals, researchers, and community members to solicit their input, share experiences, and foster a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange.
    • Build and maintain relationships: Establish connections with local AI organizations, academic institutions, and industry partners to create a supportive network for AI initiatives in healthcare.
  3. Project Manage Training Programs:
    • Project manage training programs: Curate structured training modules that cover fundamental and advanced topics in AI, tailored to different audience levels, from beginners to experienced professionals.
    • Collaborate with experts: Partner with AI specialists and educators to project manage engaging and informative training sessions, ensuring that participants gain practical skills and knowledge applicable to their work in healthcare.
  4. Event Coordination:
    • Organise events: Organise and propose AI-related community events to promote AI adoption in NHG.
    • Plan and execute hackathons: Organize events that challenge participants to develop innovative AI solutions for real-world healthcare problems, providing a platform for creativity and collaboration.
  5. Marketing & Content Creation:
    • Content Creation: Develop marketing and outreach content to raise awareness about AI initiatives, encouraging community involvement and participation in programs and events. This may include designing, developing and copywriting materials like emails, newsletters, short videos and socials.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in community engagement, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in healthcare is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with content creation, including email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in healthcare is a plus.
