We require Senior/ Clinical Psychologists to perform the following responsibilities for our REACH (Response, Early Intervention and Assessment in Community mental Health) team:

 

The Challenges

 

As a clinical psychologist in the REACH team, you will be expected to:

 

Work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide the following Psychological assessment and treatment programmes to students in schools and homes:

  • Assessments and triaging of students referred for mental health issues
  • School-based psychological assessments and treatment

 

The successful candidate will also need to work with the community in the following manner:

  • Conduct training workshops for schools, voluntary welfare organizations and general practitioners
  • Provide advice and strategies to school counsellors and voluntary welfare organizations on managing students with mental health issues
  • Case management work in schools

 

For the positions of Senior Clinical Psychologists, you will be expected to provide leadership to subordinate levels of staff and participate in the duties of subordinate levels of staff as and when necessary.

 

The Requirements

  • Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from an established university.
  • Preferably relevant working experience.
  • For the Senior Clinical Psychologist, preferably with 5 to 8 years of working experience
  • Good interpersonal, social and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Accreditation, registration or license for practice with an established or recognized psychological professional body will be an advantage.
