About the role
In this role, you will support the Group’s financial stewardship through accurate consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial performance across institutions. You will work closely with senior management, external auditors, MOH/MOHH, and stakeholders across the cluster to ensure timely submissions, robust financial governance, and clear insights for decision‑making. Beyond reporting, you will contribute to policy formulation, organisational planning, subvention monitoring, and cluster-wide initiatives, while supporting smooth day‑to‑day task within the finance team.
Job Responsibilities
- Consolidate, analyse, and review actual, projected, and budgeted financial results across institutions to support accurate reporting and decision making.
- Prepare monthly financial consolidation, analysis and etc for senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise and coordinate with external auditors on audit schedules, timelines, and financial reporting matters, ensuring all audit queries are resolved promptly
- Work with stakeholders at multiple levels across various institutions within and outside the Group
- Prepare related report that required for MOH or MOHH ensuring accuracy and timely response to their queries
- Formulation of cluster finance policies, provide timely clarification and response to policy related queries
- Assist management in planning and control of the organisation’s operations and provide support for organisation wide initiatives and improvement
- Monitoring and following-up on subvention matter and funding appeals, ensuring timely updates and proper documentation.
- Perform other related ad-hoc duties as required to support department needs
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental objectives
- Provide coverage during colleagues absence including annual leave, medical leave, training, or unexpected disruptions to ensure continuity of financial tasks and workflow.
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
- Strong analytical and articulation abilities;
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership and proactiveness in work assigned;
- An eye for details, challenging the status quo and contributing to system improvements;
- Good writing and interpersonal skills;
- Independent team player with excellent planning and coordination skills, delivering quality work timely; and
- Proficient in Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
