Asst Manager, Group Clinical Education

NHG Group Clinical Education invites suitable candidates to join Pre-professional Education Office (PPEO) as a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Director and managing the operations and administrative aspects of clinical training.

 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the Assistant Director in operations and administrative work
  • Work with internal (Director and NHG Healthcare institutions - HCIs) and external stakeholders including Ministry of Health (MOH) and IHLs
  • Co-prepare the annual PPE report for submission to MOH
  • Process billings to IHLs and coordinate submission of accruals by HCIs
  • Ensure utilisation of funding like the Pre-employment Clinical Training (PECT) meets the parameters set out in the annual Implementation Note
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Work on projects and with other teams in reviewing PPE-related MOUs/agreements/policies
  • Provide secretariat and logistical support to meetings and tracking of deliverables
  • Opportunities to be involved in other intra- and inter-departmental projects. Other duties and projects may also be assigned, in accordance with the aspirations and competence of the incumbent to the needs of the project

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

(a) Education/Training/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of work experience
    • Prior work experience in a similar role and/or healthcare industry or education administration
    • Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and preferably Visual Basic Application.
    • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
