Associate Sexual Health Advisor, DSC

DSC Clinic (31 Kelantan Lane), is our outpatient clinic for the diagnosis, treatment and control of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) in Singapore.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Interviews and provides STI information to patients.
• Follow-up on patients who have been diagnosed with STIs or have defaulted treatment.
• Contact patients' sexual partners for screening and treatment.
• Reviews electronic medical records (EMR) details and follow up with doctors.
• Provides Medical Scheme information and STI education to brothel keepers and Medical Scheme registrants.
• Conducts routine checks on brothels to ensure they comply with the Medical Scheme guidelines.
• Participates in educational and research activities and projects (HIV ST Project).
• Manage the National STIs/HIV hotline and STI registry
• Assist in generating STI statistics

Job Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline                                                                                 
• Counselling background is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
