Assistant/Manager(AIO), Campus Planning and Development

1. JOB PURPOSE

The Manager/ Assistant Manager will be part of the Artificial Intelligence Office (AIO) to drive the development of the AI roadmap in Woodlands Health (WH). Under the direction of the Executive Director, he/ she will drive innovation and leverage on AI to disrupt as well as meaningfully enhance clinical and ops processes, towards the goal of improving healthcare delivery, process optimisation and raise productivity.

 

2. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific

    1. AI development and implementation
  1. Drive AI landscape review and understand challenges faced by clinical and ops teams to identify opportunities for change and improvement
  2. Forward planning and development of the AI roadmap for the next 5 to 10 years, with prioritisation based on the problem statements, potential contribution to WH’s key result areas, technological readiness, among other factors, and in line with national and cluster directions
  3. Collaborate closely with NHG on its to technological roadmap, drive development of new AI solutions, and position WH as an enabler to testbed for NHG    
  4. Lead in collaboration with NHG, other partners of learning institutions and industry players; breaking new grounds through the adoption of AI and its successful implementation
  5. Drive development of implementation plan for AI adoption, including identification of clinical or ops champions
  6. Lead in change management and establishment of governance for AI adoption within WH, aligned with NHG
  7. Lead in seeking out new sources of funding and pitching to prospective funders
  8. Develop strategic partnership with key partners for collaboration to co-develop, validate solutions and capability building of WH staff in the area of AI; possibly through the establishment of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/ Service Level Agreement (SLA), as appropriate
  9. Responsible for the overall performance of AIO and the achievement of objectives
  10. Monitor key performance indicators and budget/ resource utilisation, while ensuring resources are used optimally within approved funding/ budget
  11. Preparation of yearly work plan, Gantt chart, key performance indicators, deliverables, board/ funding papers

 

General

  1. Provision of secretariat support for SMART Campus Steering Committee meetings and other AIO related meetings. Duties include (but not limited to) scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing meeting materials, minutes taking, circulation of agendas/ reports/ approved minutes and follow through of agreed actions
  2. Quality improvement of AIO initiatives and department processes
  3. Perform ad-hoc duties as and when assigned/ required

 

 

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education / Training / Experience

  1. Possess a recognised University Degree, preferably in health and social sciences or business degrees
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, community, or social care sector
  3. Experience in strategic planning, programme development & management, and IT will be an added advantage
