Assistant Manager (Digital Innovation Technologies Incubator)

The Hospital without Walls arm under DHSO supports the Digital Transformation Council (DTC) to drive digital standards, process and policies that accelerate the pace of innovation for the Strategic Innovation Programmes (SIPs) workgroups and Digital Innovation Technologies (DITs) workgroups.

 

Key Roles of Hospital without Walls (HoW) arm

  • Develop simplified, digital-enabling standards, processes and policies that are secure, intuitive and clearly articulated to enable project teams to move faster and seamlessly, driving the acceleration of Digital Transformation.
  • Create a transparent and unified digital-first approach across the hospital through building relationships and partnering with key subject matter experts and stakeholders: MOH, IHIS, NHG and other related agencies and internal functional groups, including legal, IT, procurement, and finance.
  • Plan and conduct key institution pre-budget exercises, project progress and budget utilization reports, performance management tracking, project reviews or approval as the Digital Transformation Council (DTC) Secretariat.
  • Manage the knowledge management registry that tracks digital innovation efforts and to collate lessons learnt to reduce duplication, build corporate knowledge and enable innovators to start and succeed in digitization efforts effectively and efficiently.

 

As Assistant Manager, Digital Innovation Technologies Incubator, your main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop innovation proposals & drive the approval at senior management meeting.
  • Provide project management and technical expertise to digital innovation workgroups on their projects or programmes.
  • Manage the overall administration and governance of the Digital Prototyping Budget.
  • Create processes and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) for the utilization, tracking and review of the projects using the DPB.
  • Identify suitable innovation projects to be raised to the relevant technology leads for future scale up.
  • Any other task as assigned.

 

Skills and Experience You'll Bring

  • 4 years of business and program development, key account management or digital governance or digitalization experience
  • Dynamic and self-motivated individual, and enjoys working in fluid and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to navigate new situations using industry/institution acquired knowledge, processes, data and analytics.
  • Be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills and communication skills (presentation, verbal, written, listening).
  • Good time management and strong ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work well independently and as a team player.
  • Experience in healthcare administration or healthcare IT technology is preferred.
  • Experience in business improvement and transformation through the use of technology like Artificial Intelligence & Analytics, Medical Tech, Operational Tech, Robotics, Telehealth, Extended Reality, or development of new Digital Services (eg. Web & Mobile Apps, Chatbots, Robotic Process Automation) is preferred.
  • Experience working in start-up environments would be an advantage.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in relevant disciplines (Business Management or Administration, Healthcare Management, Science, Engineering or any health/technology related discipline) along with deep interest in digital transformation and new technologies.
