Assistant Manager (Digital Health Innovation Resourcing)

Centre of Healthcare Innovation (CHI)’s Digital & Smart Health Office (DSHO) supports digital enablement and automation, facilitate innovation prototyping and accelerate digital health care journeys and evaluate digital technologies and wayfind the adoption of new technologies in health. 

 

In its pursuit to translate ideas and help innovation scale, DSHO is looking to establish an ecosystem where innovation project and initiatives across TTSH and NHG, connect with the diverse range of talents, innovators, and partners.  This includes: - 

  • Developing and implementing a framework and methodology for project evaluation, to assess the project impact and outcomes. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations to facilitate decision making and improvement of projects and initiatives. 

  • Conduct regular data collection, analysis and reporting on the performance and progress of the projects 

  • Network with Institutes of Higher Learning as well as technical partners, to explore opportunities for partnership and collaborations, which includes sourcing and bringing in talents for the projects 

  • Take a proactive role in the onboarding, mentoring and providing guidance to the talents, to assimilate them into our operating environment. 

  • Support the development of innovation to evaluation and publication in peer review journals 

  • Develop regular sensemaking of digital adoption at both institution and cluster, to measure the adoption rate of the various new digital technologies 

 

Requirements 

  • Good degree with 5-10 years of working experience in healthcare innovation, Healthcare technology or health related field. 

  • Experience in research and evaluation processes such as data/collaboration agreements, writing research proposals, developing study methodologies, data management, data collection, analysis and publications will be advantageous. 

  • Comfortable with networking with clinicians and deep tech experts to spot collaboration opportunities.    

  • Strong background in change management and project management. 

  • Experience in the healthcare/life sciences sector would be advantageous. 

  • Good sense-making and organization skills to map out capabilities, problem statements to create resource matching dashboards to systematically improve resource matching.  

  • Experience in system thinking, Kaizen/LEAN type training and experience in carrying out process improvement to cut waste, increase efficiency in healthcare or other industries to implement end to end process changes to increase (innovation or care quality) efficiency.     

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (presentation, written, and listening) skills; prior experience in scientific writing or medical writing is a bonus  

  • Ability to multi-task in supporting multiple innovation projects and comfortable with uncertainty, wayfinding and problem solving.  

  • Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
